Antonio Sani was born in Collecchio (Parma) on 08/16/1935 where he lives. In 1989 he began to write poems in the Parmesan vernacular with which he participated for the first time in a competition, winning the 2nd prize at the "D.Galaverna Città di Collecchio-Parmigiana Dialect Poetry Competition". He continues to occasionally write poems in Italian for pleasure with which he has participated in various literary awards. In 2012 he received the special mention of the "Prose and poetry 50 & more" award in Assisi.
